OK..

I think I have calmed down now, so much so that I don't feel like ripping into it anymore, all I have to say is that if you know any of the character back stories or care about some of the major characters then prepare to be shit upon. Cheer yourself up with thai boxing midgets, I could watch that all day.

Without A Paddle

A Poor mans Deliverance, Burt Reynolds even show's up to sully his name further. Thumbs Down

The Bird With Crystal Plumage

Dario Argento's debut feature, you can see his style starting to take shape but all the pieces are not quite in place yet. Still enjoyable and quite accessible for people wanting to get in to Giallo. Thumbs in The Middle

X-Men: The Last Stand

Read the other day that almost an hour worth of character development was cut out of this so if that ever sees the light of day I may force myself to watch this again. Thumbs Down

Darkness

Cack horror that essentially steals the good bits from other horror films but does them worse. Thumbs Down

R-Point

Korean, war-Ghost story, a troop of soldiers get sent to R-point to find missing troops only to find ghosts and other bizarre Asian stuff. Thumbs Up

Night Watch

First russian film I have seen and its pretty good, heard about it a few years back and kept find some excuse to buy the russian dvd that was available. Its a weird vampire/good vs evil flick which is apparently the first part of a trilogy, it runs out of steam and budget towards the end buts still better then most B-movies coming from the states. Looking forward to the other parts. Thumbs Up

New DVD's

Phantom Of Paradise - cheesy DePalma directed Rock opera

New CD's

Pearl Jam - RearviewMirror - best of picked up for the few tracks that are only available on it

Band Of Horses - Everything All the time - Heard they sound like the Shins which they do which is good

The Elected - Sun Sun Sun - Side project of one of the Rilo Kiley crew, nothing special but some good stuff on it

Tilly and The Wall - Bottoms Of Barrels - strange and good, band doesn't have a drummer they use a Tap Dancer instead

Also got me some T In The Park tickets this morning Oh Yes :-) £130 Oh NO ;-(
